By the Cute and Girly - Celebrations

Here is my card for this month's By the cute and Girly challenge where the theme is 'Celebrations'. I've just made a wedding card for a workmate whose friend is getting married in the States. The groom is musical and the bride likes her roses so hopefully this will be okay. I've used Victorian Velvet Distress inks for most of it, with a touch of Pumice stone on the leaf flourishes (Hero Arts) and Pearlescent crimson Brilliance for the sentiments, both of which come from a clear wedding set by American Crafts.

I've used a Martha Stewart punch around the page set for the central square and the bottom edge. the central pendant is a shapeabilities die, as is the label. I bought the roses in Hobbycraft.
I'm also going to enter it into a new challenge for me - C.R.A.F.T.-  Where the challenge is Birthdays or Weddings. Thanks for looking!

Absolutley gorgeous Sally, the music background is beautiful along with the gorgeous flowers. She will absolutely love this one. I sprayed the plastic today then read the bottle! I tried to speed dry using the heat gun but plastic doesn't like head to just left it for a few hours and it dried.

What a beautiful card Sally. I'm sure both the giver and the receiver are going to love it.

I think the punched pieces are so pretty and I really like the stamped bp.

Gosh, I'd never be able to make anything like that cos it's so pretty pretty but it's so right for the occasion. It must be great to be able to turn your hand to so many different types of artwork!

Right, first things first, Sally. A very Happy Birthday, I'm so glad you got your card and enjoyed your day. I was going to be better at keeping up with everyone's posts this week but events have overtaken me again. Freya has been very poorly so I'm currently typing like mad in bed to try and catch up!!!!
Your butterfly tag is gorgeous. I love the green and this Wedding card is so pretty. I love all the punched borders. It'll be a real keepsake for them.
Oh and by the way, your cakes all look yummy. You're making me hungry!!! I'll post Freya's cake soon which was covered in butterflies but she's been too poorly to eat it. I shall have to bake her another one to make up for it!!
Will try and keep up next week!!
Hugs
