Tag you're it - A whiter shade of pale

Are you singing now? I certainly was! The challenge on Tag you're it! is to produce a tag using mostly white.
I embossed a fern leaf (Rubber Stampede) in clear EP then added a bit of bundled sage distress inks over the top. I added a couple of ribbons, a few punched leaves and a rose I made from pearlescent white paper. This photo doesn't really do it justice, so I took a close up to show the detail. Not sure I got the colours quite right though!
I thought it would make a great wedding tag. Thanks for looking.
I'm feeling much more relaxed about Meg now, as she has managed to ring using a friend's phone. Her throat is no longer sore and she is having a great time. Free time seems to be filled with water fights to cool them all down! I've made a few cards, another carrot cake and done some gardening too, in fact I'm feeling quite righteous!

  1. My Sally, that's a difficult one, but you have come up with a real beauty, so delicate and good old bundles sage.

So pleased Megan is OK and has rung to put your mind at rest.

  2. Glad to hear Meg's having a great time and you've made me feel totally guilty with all the things you've done. I've just sat and sunbathed all weekend, the house is a tip and I don't care!!! It'll all be done when this fantastic weather disappears.
I'll be round for a slice of that cake though!!!
Your tag is sooooo beautiful. I was just thinking it'd make a beautiful Wedding card when you wrote the exact same thing-great minds ehhh.
    Have a good week.

  3. Aaaah Sally! I knew I was going to love this when I saw the linky thing and I do - it's just absolutely gorgeous! I have been practising making these roses myself this week but now that I've seen yours I know I need to go back to the drawing board - your rose is breathtaking! Fabulous tag! Thanks so much for playing once more! :o) xx

  7. Hi Sal

What a gorgeous tag. As you say perfect for a wedding gift and yes I did have a little sing .. .. we had this song playing in Church whilst we signed the register on our wedding day!!!

It sounds like you have been really busy in Meg's absence - I am pleased that she is feeling a bit better.

Lovely to get calls whilst they are away (it stops us worrying).

    Love Jules xx

  10. Hi Sally, I was really busy last week and then went to my daughter's for a few days including one spent at a Graphicus workshop (fabby) so I'm finally catching up again.

You, on the other hand have been extremely busy with your beautiful creations. I don't know which I love best (all of them I think). I do love the easel card and the shimmer on the topper you stamped is gorgeous but this tag is something special too. As a wedding tag it would be perfect!

PS Glad Megan is okay and having a good time.
