Green and Blue

Just a very quick post this evening. Thanks so much for all your well wishes for the new term! I have a lovely new class (if a little lively) who are very excited to be back at school. I am working with a wonderful TA too, who is very skilled and an asset to our classroom. Some sunshine at playtime wouldn't go amiss, but apart from that it's great!
The card is my entry for this week's Allsorts challenge where the theme is Green and Blue. Stamps are from Hero Arts, Paper Artsy and Crafty individuals, and all inks are distress inks - bundled sage, pine needles and broken china. I used a spellbinders label die cut in half for the hinges. Have a great rest of the week, and I'll hopefully manage another post at the weekend.
Thanks for looking!

Hi Sally
I'm glad your new school year has started well. The children are always full of beans when they start back aren't they.
Your card is stunning. The paperartsy stamp is one of my favourites and I love the way you've teamed it with other ones, they all work really well.
Hope the rest of the week goes well although there doesn't look to be too much sunshine on the cards!!
Hugs Lisax

Beautiful card Sally, feels like it's underwater with those gorgeous colours! Can't believe you manage to craft during term time, I know how many hours it takes for all the prep and evaluations!

Gorgeous colours, Sally - love it. Glad the class is okay and the TA is a help - that's what matters, isn't it? Hope the rest of the week goes well and you manage to show them who's boss, lol x

There was a little saying when I was a child 'Blue and green should ne'er be seen' but with certain shades of those two colours it's actually one of my favourite combos. You've picked the perfect ones here Sally. This card is lovely. I love the hinges and the card has the look of an old book about some 'lady's' garden flowers.

So glad your first week back is going so well up to press.
