Less is more and snow

The Challenge this week at Less is More is to include beads. I made this little tag a few weeks ago (must have been longing for some sunshine!)but hadn't blogged it, what with the inspection and everything. this seemed like the perfect opportunity to mount it on a card. The flip flop straps are my beads, threaded on wire. The stamp used on the flip flops is from Hero arts and the sentiment stamp is from Hobby Art.
Well, the snow here is still coming down, but I don't think it is getting any deeper, so I guess it must be melting a bit too. I popped out this morning whilst Meg was at Science on stage rehearsals to snap a few pics, but didn't venture further than a few steps from the door. I have a stinking cold with streaming nose as it is! Here are a few photos.

Hope you are staying nice and warm, and thanks for looking!

Hi Sally, love this card - such a brilliant way to use the beads! What I wouldn't give to be wearing those flip flops on a hot, sunny beach somewhere! Love the sentiment too.

Great photos - a complete contrast to your card!

Hope you feel better soon.

What a fantastic idea to add beads to the flip-flops! And your pics of the snow are lovely, too - but I'm hoping the snow won't last, i want to see sunshine!!!

I hope you recover from your cold soon.

Great idea for the flip flops... do you think we'll ever get warm enough to wear a pair?? Hope your cold is better soon.

Such a cute card... love the beaded flip flops. The sentiment is so cute except that I do count the days at the beach because I don't particularly like to show my fat legs and the cellulite that comes along with them. Lol.
But the sea is lovely to watch as ever.
Thanks for sharing this inspirational card,
Monicaxxx

Love your tag, Sally. I think we are all hoping for some sunshine. This snow isn't funny any more and today it's so windy and that's freezing too!!
Hope your cold gets better soon.

The snow is so pretty...I guess it's not so pretty if it's at your house. Here in Florida we RARELY see snow!! I have lived where it snows, but I'm very thankful that I don't live there anymore! LOL! Your card makes me think of the beach...one of my favorite places to go! LOVE the sandals!
