I am frantically flapping in with a last minute entry for the Butterfly Challenge, where the theme is one layer plus your butterfly.
The stamps are from Inkylicious, as are the acetate butterflies, which I coloured with a Sakura gelly roll glaze pen. The card has been dusted in rosebud and dandelion memento ink and the stamping is in imperial purple versafine ink. I used a gelly roll stardust pen and a water brush to add some sparkle to the raindrops.
It adds a very subtle sparkle, but I managed to capture it on camera in the early morning sun. This card was inspired by some of the gorgeous creations Deby of Inkylicious had made at summer crafting on Saturday, one of which you can see here.
I am also entering this card into the Allsorts challenge this week where the theme is 'splish, splash splosh', and with all the droplets and a couple of likes of the sentiment I think it fits the theme!
Thanks for looking and for all your lovely comments recently. I have
eight more 'get-ups' as we call them at school before 5 weeks off, Yay!

Wow, gorgeous! Love the colours and the droplets look so real! x
So beautiful Sally, beautiful colours and the rain drops look amazingly real. I love the butterflies they look like they are about to take off.

This is lovely Sally. Love the sparkle you added to your raindrops. That gelly roll pen is my favourite way to add a touch of sparkle as I'm not really into 'bling'. The dainty butterflies are gorgeous too.

Those raindrops are super. I love the effect they have on the card.

I had a feeling this theme would appeal to you Sal and what a great card for it as well. And what a fabulous inspirational quote, yet another need item it seems.
I am guessing from your post that you don't finish until next week, only three more 'get ups' here.
Thanks for joining in at Allsorts this week.

WOW - those water droplets really look like Ryn Tanaka's ones! Can't believe Inkylicious have such a similar stamp!
You've made a fab card with the sentiment, inks and background droplets Sally.

Those raindrops look so wet! You really rock the realistic stamping and making things look so dimensional. I love the subtle sheen the drops have.
