A couple of snowmen with snippets

Here are my cards for this month's Rudolf Day and this week's Snippet playground. Both feature a digi which I think was a freebie from Cuddly Buddly ages ago. Not sure it is still available. I coloured it using promakers. I found some snippets of Christmas papers and trimmed them into a square. I then added some stitching and dots with gelly roll pens. Unfortunately, I managed to get three red dots on the side of my hand (I am left handed and always smudging things!) which I transferred to a random place on the base card, hence the random dots everywhere! IRL the colours match way better than in this photo!
I managed to do the faux stitching on the second without mishaps and left it at that, lol! Hope the girls are all okay in the playground. It is a while since my last visit. I will take a big bag of toffees to share. So pleased Parsnip has got over his embarrassment of the rabbit ears!
Do pop over to Sarn's blog and Di's blog to take a look at their fab creations.
Thanks for looking!

The red dots were clearly a happy accident because they work well. Great cards, I love the cute snowman.

I love the design o f the first card and then I scrolled down to the second and he is just as cute.
Love your happy mishap (might just have to pinch that idea, purely for fixing purposes being a left hander too!).That s a super scrap of striped paper. hugs Mrs A.

I think those red dot clusters work beautifully in the first & echo the flower centres superbly - that's my favourite of the two - love his carrot nose.

I love your jolly snowman cards. I like the dotty background in the first one, a clever cover up idea.
(You don't have to be left handed to make smudges!!)

Your cards are lovely and that snowman makes me smile ,,,,,except that you're reminding me that once again I have not made a start on my Christmas cards as I'd vowed I would. It'll be last minute again, I can see it now, lol!

Two delightful cards. Love this cheery little snowy and he's colored so pretty. Your boo-boo on #1 was a fantastic save, as I love the little tri-dots background. Looks great with the scalloped edges. I'm in awe of the evenness of your faux stitching on #2. It's beautiful! I've been MIA at the Playground too,& was missing all the elves & Parsnip too.
