Embossing and Ink

Thanks to Phree on Ink Stain Survivor I have finally produced some good results using Dye ink on my cuttlebug embossing folders. Following her advice I used a brayer to apply it and used the Kaleidacolor Blue Breeze pad. I'm pretty pleased with the results.
Both are very simple cards, but I think in this case less is more. Thanks for the tip Phree - no more blobby ink!

Wow Sally, thanks for taking the time to come back and tell me what you had been up to! I mostly post about how I make stuff so I can use my blog as a sort of diary to help me remember about the things I learn. It was lovely to find out it had helped you too. Your cards are beautiful, the Blue Breeze pad is one of my favorites.

Sally you are right less is more here and they turned out wonderful. Where do you get all the ideas for your cards?

Most of my card ideas come from my head or the internet these days, DK. I buy a magazine every couple of months, but they are not half so good here as they are in the States. I love looking at other people's blogs and get tips for different techniques from them, just like I did on Phree's blog!
