Flowers and weddings

I love the simplicity of this Penny Black stamp. I coloured it using my promarkers, shading round the edge with faded jeans Distress ink. The papers were from my stash and the corners were embellished with a few rainbow drops (Crafty Notions).

A workmate asked me for a wedding card. She said it needed to be elegant and classy. I hope this is the sort of thing she had in mind! the Stamp was a freebie from the craft stamper many moons ago. I stuck a few flat backed pearls onto the cuttlebugged pearlised card.

Hi Sally, thanks for your lovely comment :) I agree yep we probably do have all our ideas when we dont have the time or energy to do things with them. Ahhh never mind, time will come. I love both of these cards they are both truly gorgeous. I especially like your penny black floral one its beautiful and springlike. I have no markers for colouring and was wondering which to buy when i next get some ready cash ( in june hopefully when i get birthday money lol ) anyway would you recommend these markers ? or prefer others ? It is something i have never bought before so recommendations are important

Thanks for your lovely comments! June - It depends what you are wanting from a marker. I have a lot of Tombow ABTs, that are great for watercolouring, but I wanted some markers that were alcohol based and suitable for other surfaces. They are relatively bleed proof on smooth card and the range of colours is huge. I really like them, but I hsve never had any copics or other makes to try. These can be used on plastic and glass too. If you overlap a little when you are colouring it doesn't tend to show - makes my colouring look neater than it really is!

Hi June
They are Letraset Promarkers. They come in sets or individually. Hobbycraft and Amazon sell them x

These are gorgeous cards Sally, I love Penny Black stamps too. Joanna Sheen has just started selling Promarkers on her website. I only have the flesh tones so I shall definitely be buying some more. xx
