A lovely day

We had a lovely day out yesterday. Steve has Mondays off, as he works on Saturdays, so we decided to visit the Chestnut Centre at Chapel-en-le-Frith. It is an otter and owl sanctuary and this was one of many otters we watched playing. Photos of the owls were a little more difficult, as were photos of the elusive scottish wild cat. On the way back we popped in to Brierlow Bar bookstore, coming out with three or four books each - whoops! Anyway, when we got home I put this together.

The background paper was made using creative colour sprays and a Twiddlybitz flourish as a mask (Crafty Notions). The stamps are from Crafty Individuals - from a sheet of their crafty elements range. The small leaves are punched. I finished it off with a few rainbow drops - also from Crafty Notions.

Sounds like the three of you had a good day out Sal. When in the area we often stop off at Brierlow Bar bookstore. It's so difficult not to buy something from there.

Thanks everyone! Biker ted - if you go to the Chesnut Centre, beware the giant otter - He is HUGE and might want to eat someone as cute as you! He was chewing a welly whilst we were there!

Thanks for the warning Sal. Made mental note - must take tuna sandwiches as protection payment.
